SMK is a Japanese electronics company established in
1925. It set up its manufacturing plant in Clark in
year 2010. SMK was listed among Clark's top
performing exporter-firms for 2011 along with Texas
Instrument, Nanox Phils, Inc., Phoenix Semi-
Conductor Philippines Corp., Yokohama Tire Phils.,
Inc, LT International Group Hils, Inc.,

Bank (KEB)

bank’s second branch in the country following one in Makati.
KEB is a specialized foreign exchange bank in South Korea. It is headquartered
in Seoul, and was established in 1967. Korea Exchange Bank is the fifth largest
bank in South Korea measured in assets and the largest foreign exchange bank
in South Korea, providing the largest range of foreign exchange products.
Located some 60 kilometers from Manila, Clark Freeport Zone was used as a
U.S. air base until December 1991. Since then, the region in particular has been
undergoing fast economic development along with the capital city of the
Philippines, according to KEB.
Bank officials believe they “can provide quality services to Korean enterprises
and our nationals, as well as to Filipino business owners through our new
branch office”.
